A Little Bit About Me
My sister taught me to knit when I was 12 years old. I was staying with her in Brussels when she was pregnant with her first child. I managed my first sweater with her help. This was my first knitting project! I was hooked from the very beginning.
Somehow life interrupted my knitting - I went to medical school, got married and had two daughters. Thank goodness for my girls, they complained they didn’t see me enough. So I began working in the ER less, knitting more while I sat at karate, piano, birthday parties…
Life is funny. Jamie, 8 ½ and Leah 5 ¾ (I must be exact, they will be proofreading this) are the “new sheep.” They both work as hard as I do in the shop. They greet everyone with a smile and they have created a virtual kids oasis in the back room.
We are having a pretty good time and would love for you to join us.
